- What role did the Quran and hadith had in Muslim law and society
- How Islamic life differed in urban and rural areas
Do Now: Open the handout 2.2 which has the chronology of important events in the spread of Islam. Get into your color groups and follow the steps prejected on the SmartBoard. Each group after posting will present the events to students. Remember, you should know your map well to post your events in the respective locations.

1. Read and take down cornell notes Chapter 13 pages 338 to end of the chapter. Test on Monday
