Example 1 Munich conference- Allows Germany to annex (add or attach) Czech along border. This was a failed appeasement policy of the British.
Explanation of the Event: When Hitler disregarded the Treaty of Versailles and went ahead invading Sudetenland which belonged to Czechoslovakia, Britain and France were unable to stop Hitlers advancement because Britain and France were still recovering from WW I and were not prepared for another war to stop Hitler/Germany advancing into neighboring lands. Therefor British Prime Minister Chamberlain decided to meet Hitler at Munich (hence Munich Conference) to talk to him where an appeasement policy was signed by Hitler . In that policy it said that Sudetenland was the only land he could take and nothing beyond that. After the conference, in about a week, Hitler attacked and invaded Czechoslovakia anyway.)
